Signature Journeys (or just ‘Journeys’) are itineraries designed by the Explorer X Team to include the perfect combination of highlights and hidden gems in some of our favorite — and most popular — destinations. They introduce you to immersive cultural, culinary, and nature-based experiences while inviting you to travel slowly and mindfully. In short: They are our best expression of what it means to truly explore these wonderful places!

Pricing for each journey will vary based on several key factors: Your destination, the time of year you travel, your group size, and accommodation selection and availability (among other factors). That said, you can expect most Journeys to cost around $2000 USD per couple per night during shoulder season.

As with all of the travel experiences we plan, the following are included it the cost of your Journey:

Yes! All Journeys can be customized to your specific interests, budget, trip length, and travel dates. These itineraries are often just starting points for designing the experience of your dreams.

We are happy to work with groups of any size: We plan travel for solo travelers, couples, families with kids, and groups of friends. Of course, pricing will vary based on the size of the group.

The best time to travel will largely depend on your desired destination; some destinations are great year-round, while others have more seasonality to them. We generally recommend beginning the travel design process at least 6 months before your intended departure date. If you are traveling during the Holidays / Festive Season, we typically recommend beginning the process more like 8—9 months before you depart.

All of our Journeys are private; we do not offer group Journeys with set dates that you can book into at this time. Still, we encourage you to reach out to us to learn more about Journeys and/or Explorer X.
